Nashville, TN (December 1, 2009) – TAMMY COCHRAN is one of several special guest artists lending their voices to the Global Food Crisis Benefit event, sponsored by Compassion International! The benefit is being held tomorrow evening, Wednesday, December 2, at Mercy Lounge in downtown Nashville (Address: 1 Cannery Row). Doors to open at 7:30 PM, with the concert beginning at 8 PM.

Other artists scheduled to perform include Carter’s Chord, Blaine Larsen, Leigh Nash (of Sixpence None The Richer), Julie Roberts, Mica Roberts, Trailer Choir, and Bryan White, among several others. Tony Randall and Kris Rochester of the syndicated “Tony & Kris in the Morning” show will host this event!

Having recently adopted a little boy from Guatemala, Tammy jumped on the opportunity to participate in this event! “This organization benefits places like Guatemala. Since my son is from Guatemala, I felt a special connection to the event.”

Tammy’s latest album, 30 Something and Single features nine brand new songs, including “Half the World Away,” “He Really Thinks He’s Got It,” and “The One That Got Away.” The album also includes her soaring rendition of the timeless country classic, “Stand By Your Man” and a re-recorded version of her Top 10 hit, “Angels in Waiting,” complete with an all-new instrumental arrangement.

30 Something and Single is available for purchase in the Merch section on Tammy’s official artist website at www.tammycochranfans.com.

International fans may purchase their copies of 30 Something and Single via CD Baby at www.cdbaby.com/cd/cochrantammy.
